We found it through the unmarked stone wall, just as she said. It was one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen.

On the way to the top of the volcano, past the eucalyptus grove, we discovered the Jacaranda trees were blooming.

We decided to upgrade to a convertible – the lure of the sunny skies was too strong to resist.

We cruised around Lake Union and out to Lake Washington. I felt like I stepped inside someone else’s life.
